Why should you own a mousegun? Well, first off, it's a gun... case closed. Ok, maybe not. There are a few guns out there that I would only wish on enemies. So seriously, what benefit does a mouse gun have? I won't go into a lot of detail because I want to go to bed and there are many articles on the benefits and disadvanteges of a mousegun in your pocket. The real advantage that I see in a mousegun is that they are so small, you will take it when your big rig stays home. And the ladies might prefer to carry a 32 or 380 over a 9mm or 40 (or 45 - the Springfield XDS).
But guys, these guns are for you too. Check out the pocket real estate advantage of a 380 over a 9mm slimmy:
The LCP shown here holds 7 rounds of 380 vs. the 8 rounds of 9mm in the PF-9, but at the end of the day, if you need to conceal a gun in light clothing, or need a ultralight back-up, the 380 pocket gun is a great choice. Weighing between 8 and 11 oz empty depending on the make, these pocket cannons are the real deal and can provide that last minute edge you need to defend yourself or loved ones from attack and are far more valuable then that doublestack Glock with 16 shots you decided to leave behind since it was so hard to cover up and comfortably carry.
As one man said: The great thing about pocket pistols is that you can carry as many pistols as you have pockets! The more the merrier! Ok, maybe two's company, but three's a crowd. Either way, if you can legally carry, you have no excuse not to with these lightweight mouseguns. You can carry these all the time and not even think about it. And they don't even have to break the bank - you can get a nice 380 for less than $250 out the door.
