Yesterday, following church with the Heritage Christian Fellowship group in MA, we drove north to the grand state of Maine. We took a wrong turn in Boston and then had two of the RV's malfunction. One had to have its starter replaced.
While we were having the RV's fixed two storms rolled in off the ocean giving us a generous lightning storm and heavy wind and rain. It looked nice. I will post pictures of it when I get the chance. The Lord was very gracious though and we were able to drive north with no problems after that. This was the first time I had driven in very windy conditions so that was a real experience. I had to fight the wheel a lot to keep that old RV tracking straight. But the Lord protected us and we had a safe journey. We arrived at Acadia National Park around 1:15 AM and by the time all was said and done, I got to bed around 2:45. Needless to say, I am looking forward to going to bed ASAP.
Today, we were able to view the beautiful coast of Maine - a sight very comparable to the beautiful Oregon Coast. Again I will post pictures as I have the opportunity. I don't have my camera's card with me at the moment so it will have to wait.
Tomorrow we drive to Farmington, ME for our next conference - hosted by Gilbert Miller. Mr. Miller has been at two of our stops already and I actually had dinner with him and his family at my next door neighbor's house.
Well, that is all for now. I have other things to attend to.
2 Cor. 13:14, "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen."
