We arrived in Rehoboth, MA at 2:15 this morning after driving for 7 hours. I had the pleasure of driving a different RV this time which I liked much better than the previous RV I drove. I also got the experience of pulling a trailer... I hope I have this all mastered by the end of the tour. Every time I climb in the driver's seat I ask the Lord to take over the wheel - So far He has been very gracious in helping me give my passengers a gentle ride.
Here is the route I drove last evening:
Mr. Mark Thomas, our host for the Taunton conference, shared an excellent introduction to the men's meeting this afternoon by pointing out that we cannot get to heaven by teaching others, saying the right thing, quoting the right scriptures, urging others to turn to the gospel. The one who would do the work of God must also be one who believes and practices his own message. Have you urged others to believe on Christ while in your own heart you do not follow him? Have you taught your children yet lived a double life? May God have mercy on us that we would not be blind to our true estate.
